The historical centre, Old Medina, is surrounded by walls built in the 16th century and lined with street vendors selling food, clothes and other discounted items. Between Old Medina and the modern shopping area, you will find the beautiful and majestic Mohammed V square, surrounded by amazing Mudejar-style buildings, such as the Palace of Justice, the French Consulate and the Prefecture.
