Other impressive monuments include the Modernist Consistorial House and the Central and Colón district markets. The 15th century Silk Market is a stunning example of Valencian Gothic architecture, and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site. For a more modern look at Valencia, head to the City of Arts and Sciences, an impressive architectural site designed by famous architect Santiago Calatrava, which offers visitors the perfect balance of both culture and entertainment.
