The Majorelle Botanical Garden houses a charming and colourful Art Deco villa, which belonged to expatriate French artist Jacques Majorell since the 1920s and was reacquired by Yves Saint Laurent in the 1980s. This complex perfectly symbolises Marrakesh’s status as Morocco’s most international city, which is home to a large community of foreigners who are drawn to its exoticism and beauty.
