The Dubai International airport in Dubai (DXB), United Arab Emirates is located in south of Dubai, in the Al Garhoud district, 4 kilometres from the city centre .
The airport has three terminals. T3 is exclusively for Emirates airline flights and is the world's largest airport terminal. Terminal 2 has an annex rated as a VIP Terminal.
Terminals 1 and 3 are connected to each other and share a transit area. T2 is separated from the others. To move around between them there is a free train and bus service. Transit between the 3 terminals takes 15 to 25 minutes.
Dubai International Airport is linked to the urban area via buses connecting the centre of Dubai and nearby areas, the metro (located in T3) runs to Jumeirah Beach, there are taxis that operate 24 hours a day and a water taxi service across Dubai Creek connects to Deira. There is also private transport that travels through the city and takes visitors to their hotels.
