Back in Alicante, there is much to see and do, including a trip up to Santa Barbara castle. Located at the peak of Mount Benacantil, at an elevation of 166 meters, the castle is one of the largest medieval fortresses in Spain and provides a perfect lookout over the bay of Alicante. If heights aren’t your thing, you can enjoy the stunning views from the city’s charming Paseo de la Explanada promenade, or visit Las Cigarreras contemporary culture centre, a converted old tobacco factory which now serves as a first-class artistic and cultural space.

There are two terminals in the airport that stopped operating as passenger service facilities when the New Terminal Area (NAT).
As there is only one terminal for passengers, there is no need to make a transit service available between terminals.
